This year, we are inviting you to be part of the Ecovillage family.

Being part of the European Ecovillage Gathering is being part of GEN Europe!

This year, we’re doing things a little differently. The Gathering ticket is now combined with a year-long GEN Europe membership, so that you can stay connected with GEN Europe all year round. The membership brings you into the heart of GEN Europe by being invited to a Members’ Telegram Broadcast Channel, getting access to the GEN Europe video library of ecovillage resources, and more. How do I book?

To attend the Gathering, you must purchase a GEN Europe Individual Membership with a Gathering Ticket. Once you have done so, you will receive an email with a direct link to book your food and accommodation with our host ecovillage, Ängsbacka. Please check your spam if you have not received it. Please note that the Gathering Ticket is only valid together with a food and accommodation booking with Ängsbacka. 

What does the ticket cover?

The ticket is valid for the Gathering 2024 and a year-long GEN Europe individual membership. It is only valid together with a food and accommodation booking with Ängsbacka.

Want to come without a membership?

If you wish to join the Gathering without purchasing a membership, there are limited volunteering slots available. You can find more information here.

If you’re a delegate officially representing a member ecovillage or network, please check the GEN Europe Moon Cycle Newsletter for the special Delegate registration form and write to membership(at)gen-europe.org, if you haven’t received it. We look forward to reconnecting with you!

If you are part of a project, ecovillage or network, that is not yet a member of GEN Europe, have a look at our Community & Network Membership options in which case you could consider attending the Gathering as a delegate at a discounted rate.

Three simple steps to book:

1. Register for your individual GEN Europe Membership here. 

2. Buy your Gathering ticket. You’ll be prompted to do so directly after making your membership payment. 

2. Booking Food and Accommodation with Ängsbacka. At the confirmation page of your ticket purchase you’ll find a link to book your food and accommodation. You’ll also receive an email with the link to book.  Please check your spam if you have not received it. Please note that the Gathering Ticket is only valid together with a food and accommodation booking with Ängsbacka. See below for pricing.

Eastern European Discount

We offer a discount to all of our Eastern European friends and community enthusiasts. The discount will be applied automatically when you sign up for the GEN Europe membership.

Group Discount

We offer discounts for groups of 4 or more tickets. To get the group discount follow the steps below.

  1. Each person in the group buys an individual membership without a Gathering Ticket.
  2. Once all group members have signed up for a membership write an email to membership@gen-europe.org with the names of everyone in the group. We will then send you a coupon code, that you can use when purchasing the Gathering Ticket.
  3. Each person uses the coupon code to purchase the Gathering Ticket.

Youth

Children and youth up to 17 years old are for free with a legal guardian!

Youth between 18-30 years will have an automatically applied discount on their membership.

Children and youth are our future and the core of our movement. To welcome more families, children and young youth, we are doing our best to make the Gathering as accessible as possible for you.  All minors (children and youth under 18 at the start of the Gathering) need to have  a legal guardian.

Once you have registered you will receive an email with a direct link to book food and accommodation with Ängsbacka. Follow the link and book food and accommodation for both you and your child/minor. Please check your spam if you have not received the email.

Children and youth under 18 do not have to buy a GEN Europe membership and Gathering Ticket, but can just be registered for food and accommodation directly with Ängsbacka.
