TRUST IN DARING

Teens Stream Workshop
Day Two: July 15 2026
TRUST IN DARING is a Forum Theater performance about trust. This technique breaks away from the one-way nature of traditional theater shifting the audience from passive spectators to active participants. Throughout the play a dialogue emerges between actors and audience generating an exchange that brings what happens on stage into real life. For this performance, during the months leading up to the Gathering, a group of people from Arterra explored the theme “to dare to trust” in inquiry and rehearsal sessions giving rise to the scenes we now share. TRUST IN DARING has not only dared to rely on a powerful workshop, but also on a collective creative process. Are you also up for the challenge?

The Teen Revolution that Cares

Teens Stream Workshop
Day Three: July 16 2026
Is it hard to make sense of why adults make the decisions they make and of the conflicts, expectations, and norms they create? Even if you don’t believe it’s possible, would you want to influence those decisions? Do you have ideas you never know how to get anyone to take seriously?

The plan for the workshop is to find out what you want for yourself and others and look honestly at what’s possible for you to do to be part of shaping what happens in your community or family. This is meant to be practical, deep, and fun: instead of abstract ideas, things you can think about immediately; instead of big projects, little steps you can take together with others that everyone will benefit from.

NURIT RODED

Workshop Holder Bio

Pronouns: she/her

Hi, I'm Nurit and I love to play. Children are more fun to play with because they generally don't have so many existential thoughts and worries yet but adults can be fun to play with too when they don't take themselves too seriously. I've studied different methods of education over the years and I believe that the best way to learn is through experience and play. In this gathering I will be offereing a workshop for children using the methods of Ludopedogagia (learning through play).

A workshop in exploration and imagination

Kids Stream Workshop
Day FOUR: July 17 2026
The kids will step into a playful world where learning happens through games and exploration. The workshop invites kids (and teens) to discover, create, and connect through group play. The kids will work together and get to know each other through various ice breakers/team building activities where a common spoken language is not important and we will end with a mad hatters’ freeze dance party. The kids will have 10 minutes to build each other a crazy hat which they will wear to the freeze dance party (last 5 min.) We’ll experiment, laugh and co-create in a safe, supportive space. There will be movement, creativity, and a touch of magic. No experience is needed, just a playful spirit!

Remembering Our Future

Teens Stream Workshop
Day Four: July 17 2026
Humanity’s core challenge is a crisis of imagination. Ecovillages already invite us to step out of sticky mainstream narratives and embody new ideas and ways of being that allow greater harmony with each other and all life. And, we can go further! In this workshop, participants will connect to what matters most to them and create images of hopeful future moments – not as fantasy or prediction, but to expand our sense of possibilities. Optionally, participants will then enhance their images (using AI) and share with others, perhaps in an exhibition or a slide show presentation towards the end of the gathering.
