We are calling in a Dream Team Coordinator!

This is not just a role – it’s an invitation. An invitation to hold space, to lead with heart, and to help weave the invisible threads that make festival come alive.

So…Who are you?

You are someone who walks between worlds – between structure and flow, plans and intuition, spreadsheets and barefoot dancing. You guide a team of volunteers and help festival magic unfold through care, presence, and conscious coordination.

What will you be doing?

As a Dream Team Coordinator, you’ll be holding a circle of 20 young volunteers who have come together to co-create the festival. You’ll be a bridge between teams, sectors, and humans. Communication is your love language – you listen deeply, speak clearly, and gently weave people, tasks, and timelines into harmony.
You’ll live in a beautiful vegan eco-village (once a hunting lodge – proof that transformation is always possible), surrounded by nature, music, laughter, and souls from all over the world. You’ll practice patience, flexibility, and trust. There will be moments of chaos and moments of pure magic – and often, they will be the same moment. Some days will be intense. And on those days, you’ll be a grounding presence for young people, some of whom may be experiencing their very first volunteer journey. You’ll hold boundaries with kindness, meet challenges with softness, and navigate tensions with empathy and clarity.

You don’t avoid conflict – you dance with it, knowing it’s part of growth.
You’ll plan, organize, and prepare and at the same time, you’ll stay rooted in the now. You’ll learn when to step forward, when to step back, and when to simply breathe and trust the process.

If you see yourself as someone who brings light into shared spaces, who can delegate with ease and sense when something feels off, who adapts quickly because your mind is tuned to creative problem-solving – this might be your moment.

You’ll laugh loudly, sing freely, dance next to the campfire, work closely in partnership, feel overwhelmed sometimes – and still wake up every morning grateful to be part of your new little community.

You won’t walk this path alone. You’ll share the journey with another Dream Team Coordinator who has already been through it. Together, you’ll hold the full arc of the Gathering – from the first preparations, through the lived experience, all the way to closing the circle and integration.

Before arriving, you’ll connect with the Gathering managers through a few online meetings, aligning with the spirit, program, and flow of this year’s Gathering. You’ll co-create the Dream Team by selecting 20 volunteers and supporting them through clear communication, presence, and care.
On site, you’ll nurture team bonding, support volunteers in getting to know GEN Europe and their roles, and stay connected with the wider organization through tools like Rocket Chat and Telegram (yes, this means being reachable – even in the forest).

During the Gathering, you’ll ensure volunteers are flowing where they’re needed, supporting the program they committed to, and you’ll help resolve any challenges that arise – with calm, clarity, and heart. You’ll be in daily connection with the Gathering managers, responding to the ever-changing needs of a living festival. You’ll be welcome to join workshops, as long as you stay available to the team when needed.
After the Gathering, you’ll gently guide volunteers through the closing phase – reflecting, integrating, and honoring everything that was lived, shared, and learned.

This role is about leadership, yes – but even more, it’s about presence, trust, and co-creation.
