Les Pas-Sages: From Scarcity to Trust
Day One: July 14 2026
Trust in money is often the last wall we hold on to. In an ecovillage, mutualizing resources is a radical act of trust. In this workshop, we want you to experiment with what is at stake when we shift from competition to systemic cooperation at every level.
Through collective role-plays, we’ll look at:
You will leave with a clearer picture of how to collectively break free from oppressive financial systems. Together, let’s make individualism obsolete and create a new space for trust to transition safely from scarcity to shared abundance.

Funding Housing for People, Not Profit
Day Two: July 15 2026
How do we fund housing that stays affordable, community-controlled, and rooted in ecological values — forever? This workshop brings together four practitioners from across Europe to share their funding models for community-led housing (CLH). Through a structured panel, speakers will explore how their models prevent speculative dynamics, build trust among future residents, and connect the CLH movement with the ecovillage world. Expect honest conversation about what works, what doesn’t, and how these approaches can inspire your own projects. Plenty of time for audience questions at the end.
How Community Trust Builds New Food Systems
Day Three: July 15 2026
At Jupiterhaus, an urban community in Zurich, we dared to trust one another and our region enough to initiate a new food system.
Together with Koopernikus, we built relationships between farmers, consumers, logistics partners, restaurants and grocery stores to co-create a solidarity-based regional food network. Through this trust, we now collaborate with the City of Zurich, supplying schools, kindergartens and health centres.
In this workshop, we share our concrete steps, governance design, financial model and key mistakes. Participants explore how trust becomes economic structure and leave with practical tools to start or strengthen regional food systems in their own contexts.

Drawing from our experience at the Catfarm community and Les Pas Sages, we will discuss purposeful budgeting, multiple economies (time, care, skills), and transparency. Learn how to honor contributions and design financial flows that respect community spirit.
