Buy an individual membership
Since 2024, the Gathering ticket has been combined with a GEN Europe membership, so that you can stay connected with GEN Europe and the ecovillage movement even after the event—giving you more than just the Gathering experience! Read more about the individual membership here.
Your individual membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase and its payment will be automatically renewed.
To cancel your membership you will have to use the personalised link sent to you in your initial registration email.
To purchase a Gathering ticket, you will need an active 2026 membership valid at the time of the Gathering, meaning your membership purchase or renewal must have taken place in 2026.

ARE YOU A DELEGATE?
If you are a delegate or a full active member of an ecovillage, ecoproject or network that is a member of GEN Europe, please refer to the email that was sent to your ecovillage/ecoproject/network address with specific instructions for registration. If you are sure you haven’t received that email, then write to membership(at)gen-europe.org
If you are part of an ecoproject, ecovillage or network that is not yet a member of GEN Europe, have a look at our collective membership options, in which case you could attend the Gathering as a delegate at a discounted rate.
GROUP TICKET
Each member of your group buys an individual membership.
One of you then sends an email to HERE with the names of all your group members.
You will receive a discount code so each of you can buy their ticket at the discounted rate of 70€/person.
You then each book your food & accommodation.

It is not possible to buy a Gathering ticket without a membership.
ABOUT THE PRICES AND THE COSTS
We are very much aware that the Gathering price is prohibitive for many of you who have chosen an ecovillage lifestyle with a lower income, or who come from countries where the level of income is generally low.
With only around 400 tickets sold every year, it is difficult for GEN Europe and the host community to lower the prices, given our fixed costs. The Gathering is a “break even” event where we cover our costs, without making profit. These costs are:

We wanted to be transparent about this.
We strongly encourage you to buy a Tier 1 ticket, as this secures you an overall ticket price of between 345€ to 385€ (depending on the individual membership category you fall in) if you stay in your tent. If you realize you cannot come in the end, you can always cancel your ticket and receive a full refund (except the individual membership that is non refundable) if you cancel no later than 1 month prior to the Gathering starting date.
If you really can’t afford the Gathering, we invite you to fill in this form to explain your situation and ask for support. We are able to offer a 60€ discount on the food & accommodation in a tent/van/big dorm for 100 people, and we are setting up a “donation jar” from which to (hopefully) fund further a limited number of discounts if needed.
On the other hand, if you are currently in a comfortable financial situation and feel like supporting others, we encourage you to donate when purchasing your ticket (all donations will go towards supporting low income tickets).
