Workshop Streams

We try to cover all the dimensions of ecovillage life and the ecovillage movement, inviting experienced ecovillagers to share ecovillage practices, as well as representatives of like-minded movements to bring new perspectives to our network.

Ecology

Be inspired to care for the Earth and the living world by permaculture design, regenerative agriculture, wild food foraging, ecosystem restoration and more.

Economy

Discover alternative economic systems and models focused on decentralization, solidarity and care instead of extraction.

Social

Learn about effective community building, conflict resolution practices, community health initiatives, social justice frameworks, and conscious activism.

Worldview

Engage with stories and practices that reconnect us with the living world and help us change destructive narratives.

Tech & Crafts

Explore the world of appropriate, sustainable technologies, and traditional and innovative handicrafts developed by our communities.

Ecovillage Advanced - NEW!

For seasoned ecovillagers seeking to address complex challenges faced by their communities and to define the next steps in the evolution of our movement. This space activates directly after the General Assembly to deepen the questions already alive among our network.

Youth hub - NEW!

The Youth Hub at the Gathering is a living, youth-led space embedded within the whole event, designed to activate participation, creativity, and intergenerational exchange. Co-created by Uniartcity and NextGEN, the Hub offers an open, welcoming environment where young people and allies can meet.

Kids’ & Teens’

The kids’ and teens’ programme runs parallel to the full programme, offering a space for your children to create their own transformational experience with the support of adults. GOT AN IDEA FOR A WORKSHOP? APPLY HERE!

Morning activities

Begin each day mindfully with practices that ground and center – from yoga to meditation to gentle movement. These optional activities offer space for self-care and renewal before the day's learning begins.

Evening activities

Celebrate through dance and live music, enjoy storytelling circles or jam sessions around the fire, documentary projections, connect with fellow participants and learn about conscious relating.

EXPO

The EXPO is an exhibition space for appropriate technology and handicrafts developed by our ecovillages and ecoprojects. We welcome tech ideas and solutions that are efficient, easy to replicate, open source, and designed to reduce their impact on the planet.

Community & Networking Spaces

Meet the Ecovillages & Ecovillage Market

A dynamic hub that is open daily around lunchtime where ecovillages, ecoprojects, networks and EU projects can showcase their initiatives.

Collective Morning Circles

Start each day together as one community with inspiring keynote speakers who bring big-picture perspectives to frame our daily explorations.

Sharing Groups

Intimate circles where participants can process and integrate their experiences in a supportive environment. *Inspired by a core practice of Ängsbacka Community

Bar & Café

Grab a treat and sit cozily whilst reconnecting with old friends or making new ones and widening your network, or just relax and savor a moment by yourself.

There were so many workshops that resonated with me. It was hard to choose, but I loved that there was always something to suit everyone’s interests and needs.
